San Diego, CA.
In my opinion:
This video is ONE of the worst police shootings I have seen in 2015 and should be included in the top 10 of this years killings by police. It almost reminded me of the Tamir Rice tragedy as to how fast and easy it was for an officer to take a person’s life.
Fridoon Rawshan Nehad was only, 42, when he was gunned down and killed by a veteran San Diego Police officer identified as ” Neal Browder.”
The officer’s actions were captured on a surveillance video from a nearby business on April of 2015.
A District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis, including SDPD Chief Shelley Zimmerman and an attorney for Browder argued against releasing the video, however a U.S. District Court Judge William Q. Hayes ruled that officials could not block the video’s release.
The FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice have launched an investigation into the shooting.
